आम जनता को तो यही देखना पसंद है कि फाइटर्स रिंग में उतरें और एक-दूसरे पर ताबड़तोड़ प्रहार करें। लेकिन अगर आप उन दोनों एथलीटों में से एक हैं जो खड़े होकर एक-दूसरे पर वार कर रहे हैं, तो मैच के बाद आप उन दर्शकों की बात से सहमत नहीं होंगे। दर्शकों को वे सारे घूसे और लातें नहीं खानी पड़तीं। मेरे पास युवा लड़के आते हैं और कहते हैं, "मुझे खड़े होकर आमने-सामने वार करना पसंद है।" मैं उनसे कहता हूँ, "सच में? तब तो तुम एक समझदार फाइटर बिल्कुल नहीं हो।"
From the public's perspective, they like to see guys that go out there and stand. Now, if you happen to be one of those two athletes that are standing out there and trading with each other, afterwards you would disagree with those people. The spectators are not on the receiving end of all those strikes. I have young guys who say, "I like to stand and trade." I say, "Really? Then you are not a very intelligent fighter."
