Sin has a way of shrinking God down and puffing ourselves up.

Some of us attend the church on the corner, professing to worship the living God above all. Others, who rarely darken the church doors, would say worship isn't a part of their lives because they aren't "religious." But everybody has an altar. And every altar has a throne.

हे यीशु, तेरा धन्यवाद कि तू पत्थरों को हटाने वाला है। और तू किसी भी पत्थर को हटा सकता है।

Thank you Jesus you are a stone mover. And you can move any stone away.

जो लोग बंधे हुए हैं वे आज आज़ाद होने जा रहे हैं क्योंकि यीशु इस भवन (डोम) में मौजूद हैं।

The bound are going to go free because Jesus is in this Dome.

पिता परमेश्वर जीवन की दिशाएं एक साथ एक ही बंडल में नहीं देते, क्योंकि उनका उद्देश्य हमें अपनी योजना से नहीं बल्कि खुद को जानने से है।

The Father doesn't give life directions in one big bundle because the goal is knowing Him, not the plan.

जीवन की अच्छी बात यह है कि आप कहीं भी हों, अध्ययन कर सकते हैं। मैं लगातार हर समय छोटी-छोटी जानकारियाँ इकट्ठा करता रहता हूँ। मैं हमेशा सुर्खियों, समाचारों या खगोल विज्ञान पर कोई किताब पढ़कर कुछ न कुछ नया सीखता रहता हूँ और तथ्यों को समझने की कोशिश करता हूँ। लेकिन इससे भी बड़ा तनाव इन तथ्यों को सामान्य जीवन की परिस्थितियों और परमेश्वर के साथ हमारे रिश्ते से जोड़ने का है।

The good thing about life is that you can research anywhere you are. I'm just constantly gathering little bits of information all the time. I'm always grabbing something out of the headlines, out of the news or reading a book about astronomy and just trying to figure out how to get my head around the facts but the bigger stress is trying to connect those facts to normal life situations and our relationship with God.

The Gospel is not about going from bad to good, it's about going from dead to alive!

केवल यीशु मसीह के घाव ही ऐसे हैं जो हमारी पहचान तय करते हैं।

The only wounds that define us are the wounds of Jesus Christ.

There is a direct correlation between your appreciation of what Christ has done for you and the expression of worship

सुसमाचार का एक ऐसा असर होता है जो தவிர்க்க (अटल) रूप से फैलता है। सच्ची अनुग्रह का असर ऐसा ही होता है। यह हमें सिर्फ यह बैठकर सोचने पर मजबूर नहीं करता कि हमारे साथ क्या हुआ। यह हमें इस बात की घोषणा करने के लिए प्रेरित करता है कि हमारे साथ क्या हुआ है—और इस धरती पर किसी भी और हर व्यक्ति के साथ क्या हो सकता है।

There is a ripple effect to the gospel that’s inevitable. There’s a ripple effect to true grace. It doesn’t lead us to only sit and contemplate what hap- pened to us. It leads us to proclaim what’s happened to us—and what can happen to anybody and everybody on the planet.

There's no doubt we were unworthy, but we were never worthless. Big difference.

There's something that's not right or not perfect or not the way we had hoped or dreamed that it was going to be. But God promises that He will use everything and every moment to ultimately take us to a new Heaven and a new Earth. For now, we're stuck in the middle.

The stakes are too high for us to die with a small vision.

मानव इतिहास के दो महान पल वे हैं जिस दिन मसीह का जन्म हुआ और जिस दिन वे मरे हुओं में से जी उठे। इन्हें क्रिसमस और ईस्टर के रूप में दर्शाया जाता है - चर्च के लिए ये दो सबसे बड़े त्योहार हैं। जो लोग चर्च नहीं जाते, वे भी इन दिनों में ज़रूर जाते हैं।

The two great moments in human history are the day that Christ was born and the day He was raised from the dead. These are represented by Christmas and Easter - the two biggest holidays for the church. People who don't even go to church do go on these days.

परमेश्वर का अद्भुत जीवंत वचन हमारे पास मौजूद किसी भी अन्य चीज़ से कहीं अधिक अनमोल है।

The wonderful living Word of God is more precious than anything else that we have.

आदवेंट (आगमन) शब्द का अर्थ है "इंतज़ार या अपेक्षा"। आदवेंट हमारे भीतर उम्मीद की एक भावना पैदा कर सकता है।

The word advent means "expectation." What advent can do for us is create a sense of hope.

परमेश्वर का वचन किसी एक खास मौसम के लिए नहीं है। यह हर मौसम के लिए है। लेकिन इसके खास इस्तेमाल के लिहाज से, इसे थैंक्सगिविंग से लेकर क्रिसमस तक पढ़ना सबसे अच्छा रहता है।

The Word of God isn't for one particular season. It's for every season. But in its specific application, it's best read from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

परमेश्वर के वचन ने सूखी हड्डियों से बात की। उनकी सांस ने उनमें जान फूंक दी, उनमें नसों (मरम्मत) की ताकत भर दी और उन पर खाल चढ़ा दी...तब तुम जान जाओगे कि मैं परमेश्वर हूँ...जब यीशु आएंगे तो ऐसा ही होगा।

The Word of God spoke into the dry bones. His breath filled them, put tendons (repair), and put skin on...Then you will know I am God...When Jesus comes that will happen.

आदि और हव्वा के बगीचे में पाप करने के बाद से यह दुनिया त्रासदियों से भरी रही है। उसी पल से हत्या, हिंसा और युद्ध का दौर शुरू हो गया और हम आज भी इंसान की अपनी चाहतों, स्वार्थ और छोटी सोच वाले माहौल के दुष्परिणाम भुगत रहे हैं।

The world has been tragic since the day Adam and Eve sinned in the garden. From that moment murder, mayhem and war entered the scene and we are still suffering the consequences of a man-driven, self-serving, short-sighted environment.

This is an amazing thought: a God who is indescribable.

This is the residue of sin on planet earth. Things are broken. People are hurting. The night is here. Darkness is upon us. Yet shining in the night is a Savior, and He has come to shine on you.

हमारे लिए, इंतज़ार करना समय बर्बाद करना है। परमेश्वर के लिए इंतज़ार करना काम करना है।

To us, waiting is wasting. To God waiting is working.

We are responsible for our captivity to sin. In our foolishness, we forget God. However, God intervenes!

We get into captivity because of our foolishness and we are more foolish that we want to admit.

We go from Malachi to Matthew in one page of our scriptures, but that one piece of paper that separates the Old Testament from the New Testament represents 400 years of history - 400 years where there wasn't a prophet, 400 years where God's voice wasn't heard. And that silence was broken with the cry of a baby on Christmas night.

Whenever you say 'yes' to anything, there is less of you for something else. Make sure your 'yes' is worth the less.

When God breathes He breathes on hard-hearted people.

जब शत्रु आप पर शर्म और बदनामी के तीर लेकर आए, तो उससे कहें कि वह पूरब से पश्चिम तक की दूरी नाप कर वापस आए।

When the enemy comes with shame and blame, tell him to go measure the distance from east to west and get back to you.

जब हम नादानी करते हैं, तो ईश्वर बीच में आकर हमारी रक्षा करते हैं।

When we are foolish God intervenes.

जब आप इन सब बातों को परे हटाकर देखें, तो यह केवल स्वर्ग में बैठे उस ईश्वर के बारे में है जो आपसे बहुत प्रेम करता है। और जिसने आपके भीतर अपने लिए एक दिल बनाया है... आपका दिल यीशु द्वारा और यीशु के लिए ही गढ़ा गया है।

When you strip all of this down it's just about a God in Heaven who loves you very much. And created in you a heart for Him...Your heart was fashioned by Jesus and for Jesus.

चाहे वह कोई वकील हो, बॉन्ड ट्रेडर हो, पत्रकार हो, संगीतकार हो या पादरी, आप हमेशा अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ देना चाहते हैं। आप वाहवाही नहीं चाहते। आप पुरस्कार नहीं चाहते। आप तो बस वह करना चाहते हैं जो ईश्वर ने आपको करने की क्षमता दी है।

Whether it's an attorney or a bond trader or a journalist, or a musician or pastor, you want to do your best. You don't want to seek acclaim. You don't want to seek awards. You want to seek to do your best at what God's given you.

जब हम आराम कर रहे थे, तब मसीह हमें बचाने में जुटे थे। जब हम कुछ नहीं कर रहे थे, तब वे सब कुछ कर रहे थे। वे हमारी आज़ादी के लिए धरती की गहराइयों में जाकर लड़ रहे थे।

While we were at rest, Christ was in rescue mode. While we were doing nothing, He was doing EVERYTHING. He was down in the depths of the earth fighting for our freedom.

कौन जानता है कि इस समय कौन इंतज़ार कर रहा है कि हम में से कोई एक उसे ईश्वर के परिवार में शामिल होने का न्यौता दे?

Who knows who's waiting right now for one of us to invite them into God's family?

सारे ईसाई हमेशा खुश और यीशु की महिमा क्यों करते रहते हैं? ऐसा इसलिए है क्योंकि हम मरे नहीं हैं! हो सकता है हम में कमियाँ हों, लेकिन हम मरे नहीं हैं!

Why are all Christians happy and praising Jesus? It's because we are not DEAD! We may be imperfect, but we aren't DEAD!

चिंता और आराधना कभी भी एक साथ नहीं रह सकते। एक हमेशा दूसरे की जगह ले लेता है। आप आराधना को चुनें।

Worry and worship cannot exist in the same space. One always displaces the other. Choose worship.

आराधना इस बात के लिए हमारा व्यक्तिगत और सामूहिक जवाब है कि ईश्वर कौन हैं और उन्होंने क्या किया है; जिसे हम अपने शब्दों और अपनी जीवनशैली से व्यक्त करते हैं।

Worship is our response, both personal and corporate, to God for who He is, and what He has done; expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live.

आराधना उस बात का जवाब है जिसे हम सबसे अधिक महत्व देते हैं। परिणामस्वरुप, आराधना हमारे कर्मों को ऊर्जा देती है, और हमारे हर काम की प्रेरणा बन जाती है।

Worship is our response to what we value most. As a result, worship fuels our actions, becoming the driving force of all we do.

आराधना का सीधा सा मतलब है किसी चीज़ को महत्व देना। मैं इसकी सबसे सरल परिभाषा यह दे सकता हूँ: आराधना उस बात का जवाब है जिसे हम सबसे अधिक महत्व देते हैं। यही वजह है कि आराधना वो चीज़ है जो हम सब करते हैं। रोज़मर्रा की ज़िंदगी में हम इसी में रमे रहते हैं……….सबूत कभी झूठ नहीं बोलते। भले ही हम कहें कि हम इस या उस चीज़ को सबसे बढ़कर महत्व देते हैं, लेकिन हमारे कर्मों की गूँज हमारे शब्दों से कहीं ज्यादा तेज़ होती है।

Worship is simply about value. The simplest definition I can give is this: Worship is our response to what we value most. That’s why worship is that thing we all do. It’s what we’re all about on any given day……….the trail never lies. We may say we value this thing or that thing more than any other, but the volume of our actions speaks louder than our words.

आराधना तब होती है जब हम अपनी साँसें वापस ईश्वर को समर्पित कर देते हैं

Worship is when we give God His breath back

आराधना की शुरुआत किसी महान चीज़ को देखने और फिर उसे इस दुनिया में झलकाने से होती है। आइए हम ईश्वर को पहचानें ताकि हम उनके स्वरूप को दुनिया में दिखा सकें।

Worship starts with seeing something great and then reflecting it to the world. Let's see God so we can reflect God.

फिर भी, यीशु ने selfless होकर अपना जीवन आपके लिए न्यौछावर कर दिया। इसलिए यदि आपकी नज़रें उन्हीं पर टिकी रहेंगी, तो आप दूसरों के साथ वैसा ही व्यवहार करेंगे जैसा वे आपके साथ कर रहे हैं।

Yet, Jesus is selfless in the way He gives His life away for you. So if your gaze is on Him, you will treat others as He is treating you.

अपने सामने खड़े पहाड़ पर आगे अगला कदम बढ़ाने के लिए आपको उस पहाड़ के बारे में सब कुछ जानने की ज़रूरत नहीं है

You don't have to know everything about the mountain in front of you to take the next step

अपना सब कुछ यीशु को सौंप देने पर आप कभी कुछ नहीं खोते।

You never lose by giving it all to Jesus.

किसी दूसरे को ऊपर उठाने से आपका अपना कद कभी छोटा नहीं होता।

You never shrink in stature by lifting someone else up.

आपकी ज़िंदगी सिर्फ एक बार मिलती है। और आराधना का जीवन भी आपको एक ही बार मिलता है। अपनी निष्ठा घोषित करने, अपने प्रेम को खुलकर जताने, और किसी या किसी को भी सबसे ऊपर रखने का यह एक छोटा सा अवसर आपको मिला है। इसलिए अपनी आराधना को किसी छोटे-मोटे भगवान पर बर्बाद न करें, और केवल इंसानी कल्पना से बने बुतों के चक्कर में अपना जन्मसिद्ध अधिकार न गंवाएँ। अपनी आराधना की रक्षा करें। और इसे पाने की इच्छा रखने वाली हर चीज़ को बहुत सावधानी से परखें।

You only have one life. And you only have one life of worship. You have one brief opportunity in time to declare your allegiance, to unleash your affection, to exhault something or someone above all else. So don't waste your worship on some little god, squandering your birthright on idols made only with human imagination. Guard your worship. And carefully evaluate all potential takers.

हो सकता है आपकी ज़िंदगी उलझ गई हो और आपकी नादानियों ने आपको मुसीबत में डाल दिया हो, लेकिन यीशु आपकी ज़िंदगी में वह सब कुछ कर सकते हैं जो आपकी सोच से कहीं बढ़कर है।

Your life may be messed and your foolishness may have put you into captivity but Jesus can do the whatever it is that is immeasurably more in your life.

इस बात को स्वीकार कर लीजिए कि आप कभी कोई और नहीं बन पाएंगे और इस सच्चाई को गले लगाइए कि दुनिया को वैसे ही आपकी ज़रूरत है जैसा भगवान ने आपको बनाया है।

Accept the fact that you're never gonna be someone else and embrace the fact that the world needs you as God made you to be.

एडवेंट (क्रिसमस से पहले की तैयारी का समय) हमें इस चार हफ्ते की यात्रा के दौरान खुद को सँवारने का मौका देता है। यह क्रिसमस से चार रविवार पहले शुरू होकर क्रिसमस तक चलता है। यह हमें आस्था के उन पलों में खुलकर साँस लेने देता है और यह महसूस करने में मदद करता है कि ईश्वर हमारे लिए काम कर रहे हैं।

Advent allows us to recover during this four-week journey. It begins four Sundays before Christmas all the way up to Christmas. It lets us breath in those moments of faithfulness and helps us recognize that God is working.

एडवेंट वह ऋतु है जो हमें यह याद दिलाती है कि जब हम इंतज़ार कर रहे होते हैं, तब भी भगवान चुपचाप अपना काम कर रहे होते हैं और असल में हम भगवान के साथ मिलकर उस इंतज़ार में होते हैं।

Advent is the season that can remind us God is working while we're waiting and we're really waiting with God.

मेरे जीवन के एक विस्तार के रूप में—इस धरती पर अपनी छोटी सी यात्रा के बाद छोड़ी गई छाप के रूप में—मैं चाहता हूँ कि दूसरे लोग यीशु के प्यार में पड़ें और उनके जीवन के लिए उनकी महान आशा और उद्देश्य को जानें।

As an overflow of my life - the wake I leave behind with my little dash on earth - I want others to fall in love with Jesus and know of His great hope and purpose for their lives.

मुझे जब से याद है, मेरे जीवन के बुलावे के पीछे की मुख्य प्रेरणा यीशु को और अधिक जानने और उन्हें दूसरों तक पहुँचाने की इच्छा रही है। मेरा मानना है कि मेरा सृजन यीशु के साथ एक रिश्ते के लिए हुआ है, इसलिए उनके साथ अपने रिश्ते को बढ़ाना और अपने पूरे दिल और जीवन के साथ उनकी आराधना करना ही मेरे लिए सर्वोपरि है।

As long as I can remember, the compelling force behind my calling is a desire to know Jesus more and to make Him known. I believe I was created for a relationship with Jesus, so growing in my relationship with Him and worshiping Him with all my heart and life is preeminent.

जब तक हम ढोंग कर रहे हैं, हम दुनिया को सिर्फ यही दिखा रहे हैं कि ढोंग कैसे किया जाता है—लेकिन वे तो पहले से ही ऐसा कर रहे हैं! वे देखना चाहते हैं कि हम अपनी असलियत के साथ जिएँ।

As long as we are faking it we are just showing the world how to fake it - but they already are! They want to see us get real.

At the heart of it all, Passion exists to see a generation stake their lives on what matters most. For us, that's the fame of the One who rescues and restores, and the privilege we have to fully leverage our lives by amplifying His name in everything we do.

टूटा हुआ दिल वह धनुष है जिससे भगवान चंगाई का तीर छोड़ते हैं।

Brokenness is the bow from which God launches the arrow of healing.

लेकिन जब मैं यह कहता हूँ कि मैं चाहता हूँ कि मेरा जीवन उनकी महिमा के लिए सार्थक बने, तो इसका मतलब अपने अहंकार का गला घोटना है—यह खुद को मिटाने की एक दर्दनाक और पक्की प्रतिबद्धता है जो मेरे हर दिन का हिस्सा होनी चाहिए।

But to mean it when I say that I want my life to count for His glory is to drive a stake through the heart of self - a painful and determined dying to me that must be a part of every day I live.
